from this mamas {heart}

ok, so today marks about six&half weeks until the arrival of sophia. we've been working so hard to get things done before she comes. spending extra time snuggling with my little bella bean has been wonderful and most important. i just need her to know she's loved no matter what and i truly believe she does.

throughout these nine wonderful months of pregnancy {catch the sarcasm}, i've actually felt pretty emotionless until now. with bella i was a bottle of tears but this time around its been different. i'm thankful i guess because a lot has happened during this time and i think it was god helping me keep my guard up or, maybe not. today i feel thankful that i have a wonderful family and another little one on the way that will change my life even more than the first time. i feel *blessed* beyond words.

isabella, i love you so much and thank god i've been able to watch you grow every day into a beautiful little girl. so full of life and joy. smiles and laughter. i love that you have a love for everyone especially you're daddy {i too, am a daddy's girl}. it’s been a blessing being your mama.

sophia, my heart is filled with joy to know i will be meeting you so soon. only god knew what he was doing when he gave us another girl. i can already tell you're going to be a little fighter. i pray you grow to love jesus as your sister has already learned to. you too are a blessing and i'm so in love with you already.

if you would of asked me two years ago if i'd ever be a stay at home mom, i would have laughed in your face. being the person i am and having the personality i have, that just wasn't a thought in my mind. i had my first real job at the age of fourteen and had been working ever since until bella was born. i worked hard and sometimes maybe a little too hard. i'm social by nature and love to be around other people. so, the thought of being at home with a child all day wasn't at the top of my list. i can honestly say, i love what i do. it's taken me sometime to feel this way but i truly love it. yes, there are days when i would do anything to have an adult conversation. there are days when jim comes home and i can see the look of exhaustion on his face as i continue to ramble on about my day and any thought that may come across my mind. he gets it and lets me do my thing :) i guess what i'm saying is, it's work and things become tight but it's what i'm meant to do for now. it's amazing how children change your life and the different kind of love you can feel for them.

                                                                               my heart is happy.
