weekend with the best.

where do the days go? i can't seem to find the time to sit down and blog anymore! i have a million things to do...does it never end? ha!

this past weekend we went to the portland area to visit our besties, nick and amanda. man do i miss those two! let me give you a little history. nick, i met back when i was in youth in massachusetts. he came with his brother to help during his zion days. we later ended up at the same college where amanda had went as well. did i mention she's from mass as well? i was actually on the same floor as her but didn't really get to know her because i was busy working, "studying" and traveling to mass on the weekends. nick and amanda were dating. anyways, i later moved to maine when i married jim and helped in the youth at the rock which nick and amanda were over. now during that time amanda and i didn't really like each other. we were constantly reminded by our husbands that we were one in the same. its like they were both married to the same person so we were told. then nick and amanda got married. after a long time of hanging out "finally" we became the BEST of friends. they're those kind of friends where we walk into each others houses without knocking, can say anything around them, and always pick up where we left off. they moved to the portland a little over a year ago to start another church with our other amazing friends, dave and jehn. they too are some of our favorite people and miss them more than ever since they moved about a month ago. we love them and know they will do great things in falmouth. sometimes i question why God moves people you love away. but then i think, God has a plan and purpose for everything no matter how painful it is at times. 

with that all said, we had a FANTASTIC weekend. we went to dinner and a comedy show. jehn was so excited to watch isabella. we had fun with the dube's over dinner. went to freeport. shopped at one of my favorite grocery stores--trader joe's! and visited OCC. we just had plain fun! isabella loves her uncle and auntie, oh and gus too! she loves dogs...she kept saying, "doh" and "woof, woof." she actually woke up this morning with her hands raised, saying doh. poor girl was wondering where her little buddies gus and bennie were.
