giuliana james

on october seventh, twenty sixteen, we welcomed our sweet baby girl, giuliana james. she weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and 20 inches long. she had a beautiful full head of hair and the prettiest blue eyes. i remember feeling a rush of relief after i heard her sweet little cry. it was emotional day for us because i was rushed in for an induction. i received a call from dr. rinaldi after she reviewed my lab work (liver tests) as they came back that my they were elevated and was worried that if i didn't have her then, oxygen would be cut off from the umbilical cord to the baby and she'd be stillborn. emotions ran wild and we quickly called on a good friend to watch the girls and got sunday service covered. i packed my bags, cried and kissed my other babies goodbye. i had no idea what was happening and shear panic set in. when i got settled in, she assured me everything would be fine as long as she came today. i was induced at 3pm and after intense, none medicated pain, the little miss arrived at 10:06pm. once again I'm amazed at what the human body can do and how great God truly is. we're so blessed to have this little being in our life. it was possibly the worse pregnancy filled with constant cramping, migraines and exhaustion but in the end, it was all worth it. but don't ask me to do it again ;)
