i don't even know where to begin as it has been months since my last post. we're all doing well and life is crazy but we manage. here's a little update:
bella is just about the sweetest girl. i literally *heart* this child! she's been so helpful around the house. she loves to help me fold laundry and bake. she's super into crafts such as painting and coloring or anything with glue! she IS truly a girly, girl. she loves to dance around the house in tutus and tiaras while singing at the top of her lungs! she changes her clothes about 10 times a day - you think i'm kidding!? she's obsessed with socks. i mean, like jumping up and down in the middle of sam's club because she saw i was buying her new socks. it doesn't take much to please this girl. she is kind and "oh so" sweet. she loves reading her bible {david and goliath *gynet* & jonah and the whale are her favorites}. she adores her baby sister to the max. she has a love for hot chocolate and marshmallows. her favorite movies and shows are the little mermaid, tangled, old school mickey mouse and mickeys house of mouse/villains (the witch, she calls it). i so enjoy our morning cuddles and afternoon snuggles. she is caring and so concerned about others and prays for people daily. she knows when your sad and does all she can to cheer you up. she would join hips with her daddy if she could. she's so smart and speaks exceptionally well for a 2 year old.
you amaze me each day and i enjoy watching you grow into such a beautiful little lady. mama loves you to the moon and back!
sophia is such a joy. she is truly a mamas girl for sure! she's super sweet and such a love bug (i call her bug). she loves attention and affection. she loves food! she is my little eater for sure. she just started crawling last month at a little over 8 months old and is on the move. she sometimes has what we call a lazy crawl with a stiff leg...it's very entertaining. she says "dada" and "mama' and i'm pretty sure she has said "bella" twice. she enjoys waving to her reflection when we walk by a mirror. she has 6 teeth and about to pop more any day now. she's also standing real well when holding onto furniture. there is just something so special about this girl that i adore so much. i love you baby girl and i can't believe you're entering the toddler years soon! you melt my heart buggah!
new beginnings for the funari's in 2014! we're in the process of putting our house on the market as we will be venturing to the portland area to start a church. we're very excited but this will be bittersweet. if jim had told me seven and half years ago that we were moving out of bangor, well my bags and car would have been packed in minutes. but now...it's sad. we've made wonderful friends along the way and love our church. i guess it took us becoming content with where we were for God to really shake things up. we're so excited for the unknown but of course as scared as ever. we know that God has a plan and if we remain faithful, He will see us through each step of the way. we will continue to pray as we make this "journey" towards something great!
