just a little note

sorry it's been awhile but i've really have no time to get on and blog lately. besides, i've a lot of crappy feelings and instead of sharing foolish stuff with the world, i'd wrote them in a personal notebook.

anyways, like i said, life has been busy but i have so much to be thankful for. jim and i are expecting our second child in late april. we're beyond excited. it definetly has taken me some time to get past the, "i feel like crap and want to die" stage but i have to tell myself it's completely worth it in the end! i'm so thankful to have such wonderful friends/family and church members who have taken the time to think of us and bless us. i actually got a little memo and treat in the mail this week from an anonymous church member and it truly meant so much to me. i don't usually get all sentimental about stuff but it really touched me heart to be thought of. by all means, i DO NOT expect people to remember me and my issues, people have too much in their own lives.
i'm also thankful for the new church building. its pretty amazing to see when Gods hand is in things. i feel blessed to be a part of something so new and exciting. i'm also thankful for all the volunteers who have come out to help the staff get the entire building painted in three days! things and really get done when we have willing and faithful servants. from what i hear, we should be in by the second week in december if all goes as planned.

on another note, my gram needs much prayer. last february she had a stroke which totally took us all by surprise. she's a strong and determined lady who was working in a factory until her stroke. through much therapy she was released from rehab and back home. recently, about 2 months ago she was admitted again because she wasn't feeling right. she was supposed to be hospitalized for a short time and then released but took a fall (?lack of hospital supervision?) and pretty much took a turn for the worse. in her case she was a fall risk due to the aneurysms in her head. we went to visit her back in september and it was the most pain i've felt in a long time. she was so lifeless and not the gram i always knew. my grandparents are special to me and i love them so much and it kills me not to be there. my family is amazing and so thankful she has them. my grandpa is there with her each day...he really loves her. i was telling jim, it's really neat to see him like this with her because if you know my grandpa, he shows love in teasing and name calling but to be by her side as he has been is true love. praying everyday for her and my family. for her to get strong again and for rest and peace for my family. believing God for a miracle.
